Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some of the most commonly asked questions we receive, but please contact us to with anything else you'd like to know!

How do I know how many tables I'll need for my event?

The number of tables you'll need is based on number of guests you’re expecting. Not all guests will be playing at any given time (and some guests will prefer to simply watch and not play at all). It’s important to judge your needs as accurately as possible because not having enough tables is just as bad as having too many with lots of empty seats. To get a sense of how many tables you’ll need, check out our party packages and then contact us to customize a quote for you. With 30 years experience, we can recommend the best package option to ensure your event is a wild success!

How much will my event cost?

The cost for every party is different, simply because every party is different! Your cost will be based on number of guests and types of tables needed. We’d love to customize the perfect package for your party. To get an idea of how many tables you’ll need for your party size, check out our party packages and then contact us for a custom quote!

How long should my casino party run?

Our rates are based on two hours of gaming. Most parties generally feature dinner or appetizers at the beginning of the evening followed by two to three hours of casino gaming. This length of time is ideal for most parties. We do require a two hour minimum for all events and are happy to extend additional time in 30 minute increments to best fit your specific event.

How long should my poker tournament run?

Our poker tournaments generally run five to five-and-a-half hours. The first two to three hours are the prime fundraising time for your group. By the end of three hours, most players will be eliminated from play and are free to leave. The final two hours are spent running the tournament out to conclusion and declaring winners.

Do your tables include dealers?

Yes, we provide specially-trained dealers to run all of our games, allowing you and your guests to simply focus on having fun!  If you are having a smaller party and would like to use your own volunteer dealers, we are happy to rent just the tables. We'll also provide one training session for your dealers, but we do highly recommend that you consider hiring our dealers for more complex games like Craps, Roulette, Beat the Dealer, Kansas City Draw, Pai Gow Poker and Mini-Baccarat. These games are not easily taught so play will go much smoother with a proficient dealer.

Do you offer slot machines?

No, we do not feel slot machines are a good value since you would be paying a premium price to have only one person able to play at a time.  Plus, it's illegal to own or rent real slot machines, so we simply don't offer them.

What are your payment options?

We require a $100 deposit upfront to book your party, which can be paid via cash, check, credit card, Venmo, or PayPal. The remaining balance is due the night of the party and can be paid via the same payment options. If a credit card is used, a 3.5% processing fee is added to the total.

How far do you travel?

We serve the entire Kansas City metro area, although we’ve done parties as far away as Lake of the Ozarks, Jefferson City, St. Louis, Lawrence, Topeka, and Manhattan.  For parties out of town, we do charge an additional fee to cover travel time and gas.
